Bring the sun into your home
No matter the space, we always design the right system for you
Solar PV systems for your home start at £3,950* installed for 2.4kW
*Price includes VAT and installation with 8 all black high-performance mono-crystalline panels
Today, solar is all about matching your energy consumption rather than earning a good tariff income.
Systems to fit your needs, your budget and your space.
Cut your electricity bills – sunlight is free after all. Once you’ve paid for the initial kit and installation, you’re generating free electricity.
Cut your carbon footprint – Solar does not release any harmful carbon dioxide, and on average, saves around 1.4 tonnes of carbon per year.
The panel collects free energy from the sun. Traditionally south-facing, now we install half a solar PV system on the east roof, and the other half on the west-roof. This ensures the household gets more balanced energy generation for longer throughout the day.
Is colour important to you? Choose a range of black, blue or even red, green and blue solar panels.
Monocrystalline, polycrystalline or thin film? Each has their advantages and disadvantages such as size and power output. For example, thin film generates more power but needs more space than crystalline. We’ll go through each type with you.
The inverter, or the heart of the system, is mounted on nearby wall inside (usually the attic).
All our inverters come with 10 year warranties, and if performance is really important, then we can offer miniature inverters on each panel.
We install GSM (sim-card activated) reading meters, meaning we can remotely monitor systems as part of the benefits of the Care Club.

Trees and chimneys will cause shading, or if your panels are on different angles then our optimizers are worth considering.
Overproducing systems will work in harmony with battery storage, saving your power in the evening instead of exporting it and then buying power back in from your supplier later. Now half the price, double the lifespan and a quarter of the size.
If you have an immersion heater, a simpler solution could be to divert your excess solar energy to your hot water tank, ensuring you have hot water ready for you in the evening.

Domestic Solar PV Case Studies
These two friendly neighbours do everything together – and that includes generate solar energy together.
We installed a double 4kW system, however one had to have thin film as the roof space was slightly smaller, but actually performs slightly better than its neighbour!
Yew Tree Farm
This 4kW solar PV system, installed 2012, does not need cleaning because of its steep pitch, and is perfectly orientated south to fully utilise the FiT.
