Electric Vehicle Charge Points

In 2017, the UK Government announced plans to ban the sale of new diesel and petrol cars by 2040 and with recent Climate Emergency declarations happening all over the UK, there is now pressure for the Government to ban them by 2030.

With help from the government’s low-emission vehicle grant and grants towards a domestic electric vehicle charge point, combined with rising petrol and diesel fuel costs rising, the UK has seen a surge in electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle sales.

This has led to an increased demand for electric charging points either at home, for the journey or at the destination.
